Transit Buses & Low Floor Buses
Transit buses are used to seat high passenger capacities in heavy use transportation operations. Transit buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps, fare boxes, destination signs & many other options. In most cases, a portion of the bus has a low floor to accommodate wheelchair passengers. Transit buses range from 25 to 40 feet in length. All of these buses are available in gas or diesel or can be converted to run using alternative fuels.
Creative Bus Sales is proud to offer CNG buses, 100% compressed natural gas fueled, on Ford E-450, and Chevy C4500, C5500, G3500, and G4500 chassis. All conversions are performed in-house at the Creative Bus facility by our trained and certified technicians. Our engine conversion systems are CARB and EPA certified. Creative Bus Sales complies with NFPA 52 Code-2006, Title 13, and FMVSS 303 4 304.
Creative Bus Sales offers dedicated Propane bus conversions on Chevrolet chassis with either 8.1 or 6.0 liter gasoline engines. The Clean Fuel USA Liquid Propane Injection system meets CARB and EPA certifications.
Creative Bus Sales offers the Azure BalanceTM Hybrid Electric bus. The Azure BalanceTM Hybrid Electric drive system is used on Ford's E450 Cutaway chassis and on many of our bus models. The Eaton Hybrid drive system is used on all IC Bus models.
