NFPA 52 Incorporated into Law Under Title 13
Creative Bus Sales strictly adheres to all NFPA 52 standards on our CNG conversions. Recently the NFPA 52 standards have been incorporated into law under Title 13. NAFPA 52 outlines specific and strict standards with regards to the design and installation of CNG fuel systems meant to protect passengers and decrease the likelihood of fuel system failures. One major component of Title 13 requires that systems pass a California Highway Patrol inspection which will now include a full review of NFPA 52 standards. Click here for more information.
CNG Fuel Alternatives for Buses
Creative Bus Sales offers Dedicated CNG conversion on the Ford E 450 chassis as well as the Chevrolet C4500 and C5500 chassis. Our conversions focus on safety as well as quality. We use American made Swagelok stainless steel fittings as well as American made Luxfer cylinders. Our CNG conversions use BAF Technologies or BAYTECH engine systems that are CARB and EPA certified. Creative Bus Sales complies with NFPA 52 Code-2006, Tite 13, and FMVSS 303 4 304 and has been certified by various organizations such as: Swagelok, CSA America, BAF Technologies, BAYECH CORP and NGVI. Additional safety options such as excess flow valves, external pressure gauges, fire suppression and methane detection system are also available.
