CalACT/MBTA: Creative Bus Sales is Low Bidder on all line items. The CalACT/MBTA Vehicle Purchasing Cooperative has awarded. Creative Bus is the low bidder for all vehicle types, with substantial price savings over the next lowest bidder. Ordering is now open for cutaways from Starcraft Bus, Goshen Coach, ElDorado National, Startrans, and Champion Bus. Vehicles offered include narrow body and wide body cutaways on both Ford and Chevy chassis. CNG and Hybrid cutaways are also available on Ford chassis. Wheelchair accessible minivans are available from Braun and ElDorado National.
Award is expected the end of January for the Supreme E-Lo Low Floor cutaway.

Caltrans: The California Department of Transportation has recently released its bid for state contracts. Contracts for Type 1, 2 and 3 vehicles including CNG and Hybrid line items will likely not be awarded until March 2010.
